  I needed a new cell phone battery that was hard to find so I called Batteries Plus and spoke with an employee named Kenny. Kenny checked and said they had them in stock. I asked him to make sure as I was about a 30 minute drive away......he assured me they had them.
  
  I drove all the way there only to find out they did not have them. Kenny had lied to me just because he was too lazy to take an extra minute and check. I spoke with the manager named Mike and he said he would order one and give me a discount for the wasted trip I made. My total time driving there and back and time I spent at the store totaled about an hour and a half.
  
  Couple of weeks later I get a call from employee Richard that the battery has arrived and I could come pick it up. I asked Richard if I could just pay them with my credit card and they could mail it to me. I did not feel like driving another one hour again because of Kenny's lying. He said he would check with manager Mike.
  
  Richard put me on hold and then came back and said Mike would not agree to mail it to me, that I had to pick it up. He said Mike would give me an $8 discount on the $42 battery, bringing the price down to $34 but that he would not pay another $8 to ship it to me. I said it would not be $8 to ship it, they could just drop it in a regular envelope and mail it....like mailing a letter. The battery weighs about as much as a quarter.
  
  He checked with Mike again said Mike refused to mail it or that if he did, he would have to charge me an $8 shipping charge and then could not give me the $8 discount on the battery. I could not believe after I made one wasted trip there, they were refusing to drop it in an envelope and mail it.
  
  I finally got Mike on the phone and he refused to mail it unless I wanted to pay $8. I could not believe his attitude, especially after wasting an hour and a half of my time because Kenny had lied to me. This would have cost them virtually nothing to do this.
  
  Mike put Richard on the phone and Richard said "if you want it or not you need to make up your mind and call back when you do"; he then slammed the phone down. I could not believe the attitude of these people, treating a customer this way when I was trying to giving them my business.
  
  I would advise anyone needing a battery to avoid this place at all cost and if they tell you they have a certain battery in stock, don't believe them. Don't waste your time driving there and back.

  I needed a battery for my watch which is a challenge to remove. Very happy I found Batteries Plus Bulbs! Customer service is amazing! Richard was very helpful and a pleasure to do business. Highly recommend.
